I Can't Believe I Ate The Whole Thing

When we went to Idaho in January to see the Rexburg Temple I had made a whole list of places to take Jared to. Well since the car turned into a BBQ we didn't do anything on the list. (Refresh your memory http://jljbuck.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-doh-ho.html)

We had the pleasure of returning to Idaho last week for Brielle's (my cousin) wedding. We managed to talk Carl into launching his boat (aka HUGE car) and taking a quick trip to get a bite to eat.

"I'm so hungry I could eat a cow!" Little did he know he would come close to doing just that.

Jared said he was starving so I took him for a burger at Big Juds locally famous for the Big Juds Special. If you can eat the whole thing by yourself they put your picture on the wall. Jared and William were both going to try it but after seeing the size of it in real life and knowing we had to go party at the reception decided to split one.

Leigh Anna, Carl & Stephanie waiting for our food

Joseph tried to sneak a bite but Jared said "NO!! I don't share food!!"

Joseph was a little sad by Daddy not sharing

Here is Jared's hamburger compared to Carl's hamburger.

Afterwards Jared made a trip to the restroom. He came out laughing at the "ghetto-ness" of it. He said the sink would shake like a washing machine and the lid on the toilet didn't fit. We decided this was to discourage people from losing their burgers while still in the resturant.

Overall we had a fun trip and have great memories!!

WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

So I went to Walmart to get some spackle to fix up the place I am vacating (no spackle) when I decided to pass through the Electronics section. I walked by the gaming units and in the Nintendo section saw at the very bottom a single white box. I assumed it was the display that says currently out of stock, but upon closer inspection, it appeared to be legit. So I asked the Wal-Mart Cast member if that was a Wii and she said, "yeah I think we got one left you want it?"

without thinking I said, "yes!" So she took it out and gave it to me and sure enough- it's a Wii. (They are surprisingly heavy) So i tried to call Annie for permission- i called her cell twice, her home and her mom- no answer. So i amde an executive decision and bought it! (There was another guy eyeing it so I couldn't let him get it.) So we are in possession of a Nintendo Wii the hottest funnest video game system around. Hard to find too. Especially like the bowling and tennis games and Emma if you read this, I want vengeance in boxing! So come on over everyone and lets play Wii! (Bring games if you have them!)

Cereal Rocks!!

After begging and grabbing everything in sight my mommy finally let me start eating something besides milk. Grandma Hendrickson has been trying to sneak me food for weeks. She managed to slip me some tasty things including bread, waffles with syrup and root beer. All of which has made mommy tell grandma "no no" which makes me laugh that I'm not the only one mommy says that to.
Anyway mommy has started me out on cereal. I not sure I like the taste but I'm adjusting to it well. The biggest problem I seem to be having is not sleeping through the night anymore. This has been driving mommy crazy but I told her it's dark in my tummy and when my tummy needs food it can't tell if it's day or night. The other day mommy was feeding me but wasn't being quick enough so I took matters into my own hands. I've found that a spoon in each hand seems to work much better.

I think I did an excellent job at feeding myself. I only got it all over my face, clothes and bumbo. Mommy took my picture afterwards but you can't really see the results.

WE'RE READY TO BELIEVE YOU!!!

Yo check out the car I saw at the Denver Automotive show. It was the best car there, though all of the cars were too pricey for us. It played the Ghostbusters song and was littered with Traps and a proton pack- Very nice. The license number is ECKTO 1K which was a nice touch. Pretty sure the original wasn't a Subaru outback though.

For those of you that are Transformer fans, here is the Chevy Camaro Bumblebee
